Sioux Chief plastic hanger strap shall be used where necessary to support DWV pipe and should be installed in accordance with national codes pertaining to hanger spacing and slope requirements. The plastic hanger strap features 1/8 in Dia holes spaced 2-1/2 in apart. Cut plastic hanger strap to desired length. Using approved hardware (not provided), secure hanger strap with nail or screw to joist or stud member through pre-drilled pilot hole on strap. Hanger strap may be looped or double wrapped around pipe and may be secured on same side or opposite sides of floor joists or stud members. To avoid fracturing, plastic hanger strap should not be installed where temperatures fall below 32 deg F.
