This PVC pipe cement creates a deep fusion between rigid schedule 40 pipes and fittings with an interference fit up to a 6-inch diameter and schedule 80 pipes and fittings up to a 4-inch diameter. The premium, hot-blue formulation is designed specifically for irrigation, DWV (drain, waste and vent), pool and spa, plumbing and non-pressure applications. And thanks to its medium bodied viscosity and fast relative set time, this PVC solvent cement applies smoothly and sets quickly to facilitate efficient PVC welding, even in wet conditions. HotWeld may be used without primer on schedule 40 pipes and fittings if local code permits.
